This particular item was important for my great-granddaughter's attachment to it
This particular item was important because she clutched the original bear at 18 months, while going thru and stressful time in her life. She has continued to want it with her continuously and is now going on 7 years old. The bear has been dragged around and has experienced unknown trips thru the washer and dryer. So now the stuffing is pretty much collapsed and the fur is stiff and matted. Not bad for the hard life this little guy has been dragged thru and loved thru. The company worked with me to (1) let me know when it would be back in production and available and (2) where I could purchase it in the US to avoid high shipping costs. It arrived, just as plump and soft as I remember the original.
